These terms govern your use of the Tornu Golf application for iPhone and Apple Watch. By downloading or using Tornu, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the application. The Privacy Policy explains separately what data Tornu handles.
Tornu is made and operated by Daoud Mansour, an individual working as a sole proprietor. Tornu is not a company and is not an incorporated entity. Where these terms say “we”, “us” or “our”, they mean Daoud Mansour.

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Tornu on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, lease, sell, sublicense or redistribute the application, or attempt to derive its source code, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Tornu is distributed through the App Store and your use is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal. Where these terms and that agreement conflict, that agreement governs.
Tornu is free to download and includes a set number of saved swings. Continuing past that allowance requires a subscription or a one-time purchase. Prices are shown in your local currency on the purchase screen inside the application.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us, and are subject to Apple's policies. Requests go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Tornu is a measurement tool. It is not golf instruction, coaching, or professional advice. It reports the timing of your swing as recorded by the motion sensors in your Apple Watch. It does not tell you how to swing, and no output should be treated as a lesson or a prescription.
Tornu measures backswing duration, downswing duration, the ratio between them, and where in the downswing acceleration peaked. It does not measure and does not report clubhead speed, ball speed, club path, face angle, carry distance, or shot outcome. The watch sits above the wrist joint and cannot observe the clubface.
Measurements are subject to the limits of consumer motion sensors, sensor placement, band tightness, and device generation. We make no warranty that any measurement is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Golf is a physical activity carrying risk of injury. You are responsible for swinging safely, for your surroundings, and for anyone nearby. Consult a physician before beginning any new physical activity. Do not use Tornu in a way that distracts you from your surroundings, and never position an iPhone where it could be struck.
Swing data recorded by Tornu is stored on your own devices and belongs to you. We do not access it, and we cannot recover it for you. Backups you export are your responsibility once they leave the application.
Deleting the application removes its data. We are not liable for any loss of data, however caused.
Tornu is distributed through the App Store. Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement sets terms that apply to every application sold there, and the points below restate the parts of it that concern you directly.
Tornu is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Tornu. Our total liability for any claim relating to Tornu will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you.
This license ends automatically if you breach these terms, and you may end it at any time by deleting the application. Sections concerning warranty, liability and governing law survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Any revisions will be published on this page and the effective date below updated accordingly. Continuing to use Tornu after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
